ABOUT
I saw this town in a magazine and all I could see were the lines. All those buildings stacked into the cliff, holding each other up. I knew I had to draw it.
Then life got hard, and I drew it from a hospital room, because a seaside town in Italy was the furthest, most beautiful place I could think of. I started with the houses, then the water, then the cliffs, then the people, because a place isn't a place without them.
Three months later it's the biggest piece I've ever drawn.
